Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor as well as a director producer and singer. She is an attractive, talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. She gained fame after a number of popular early characters in television shows. For instance, in The Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. Following a dramatic rise in popularity, the actress was offered roles on major screens like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The actress then gave a superb performance in the role of Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii as part of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. She also played leading roles in box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen in Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. A recurring role in the critically acclaimed police drama series Southland allowed her to regain her status as an established actress. Liu carefully selects roles to prevent being stereotyped in an industry which is extremely competitive. Liu has acknowledged her Chinese heritage, but hasn't let it limit her artistically.
